6 Days of travel into Akagera National Park in Eastern Rwanda, Central Africa’s largest protected wetland and the last remaining refuge for savannah-adapted species in Rwanda.
Arrive into Kigali for one night, next two nights drive to Akagera National Park, then a pass through Musanze to Volcanoes National Park for two nights before returning by road to Kigali and to your outbound flight.

FAQs
Suitable outdoor clothing, appropriate to the season and weather.
Covered or closed shoes for mountain bike riding & hiking.
A hat, sun protection, waterproof jacket is strongly recommended.
Important that adequate water is carried for hydration.

Gaiters, raincoat, backpack and bag covers will be offered to all guests going on excursions or activities into Volcanoes National Park.
One to six hours.
During the dry season from June to September as this is also the best time of year to see mountain gorillas in Rwanda as these periods offer the best hiking conditions and the lowest risk of malaria.
