5 days by road takes you to Rwanda, a night in one of our partner hotels of your choice, day spent at leisure with dinner at the Hotel.
The next day takes you on an 8min drive from The Retreat with a guided tour to Kigali Genocide Memorial exhibitions and gardens.
Proceed by road to Volcanoes National Park for next 3 nights, Gorilla Trekking experience and Golden Monkey Tracking.

- Transportation & shared basis in 4 x 4 vehicle throughout your safari except when requested for private use for 4x4 vehicle with Wi-Fi in receptive area.

FAQs
This is an on foot experience, and said to be the closest you can get to the endangered mountain gorillas. The trip has a maximum of 8 people per group.
Only three countries in Africa, with limitations of four National Parks: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda), Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (Uganda), Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda) and Virunga National Park (Democratic Republic of Congo).
In comparison to other wildlife encounters, gorilla trekking is considered safe. However, as each experience has its rules, these are outlined in details and MUST be followed.
The dry season between June – September, December – February is best for Trekking. The rainy season comes with challenges for this experience as it’s an activity on foot. however, the lodges give special discounted rates during this period.
Water proof shoes – hiking or boots as the trails are mostly muddy or waterlogged.

Wireless internet is now available throughout the country, either by using a dongle, which can be purchased in Kigali and other major towns, or by using Wi-Fi hotspots.
Sabyinyo Silverback has complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the rooms and the lodge main area.
The Retreat Kigali we do have Internet through Wi-Fi at the property.

You will need a travel plug adapter in order to plug in. Electrical sockets (outlets) supply electricity at between 220 and 240 volts AC.
