This extinct volcano with its 18 km wide crater floor, is home to an abundant and unique ecosystem that encompasses almost all of the wildlife that you would wish to see in Africa. 

The Manor at Ngorongoro, located in northwest Tanzania, sits within a 1,500-acre Arabica coffee estate comprises 18 cottage suites, each with a private entrance and adjoining private sun terrace. The Manor is a recollection of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-style of architecture.

The Manor Cottage suites are divided into, The 18 Manor Suites & The Sable Cottage (Family Suite) in African hospitality, fused with old-world Afro European architecture and décor embracing you in grand style surrounded by the natural splendor of the Tanzanian highlands and the world heritage site.

Accessible directly from Kilimanjaro International Airport (3h 45mins), Arusha Airstrip fly from Arusha to Manyara airstrip (25mins), by road the transfer from the Manyara Airstrip to the lodge takes 40mins, from Arusha Town by road is 3hr 3min (106mi)to the lodge.

Accommodation

18 Manor Cottage Suites, each has private entrance, and adjoining private sun terrace, each en-suite with bath and shower room possessing a Victorian-style claw footed bath, as well as twin vanity basins and large ‘rainfall’ shower. 

There is a double open-fronted log-burning fireplace diving a room interior that mirrors the traditional Cape Dutch architecture. Features include; Tea & Coffee making facilities with complimentary homemade cookies, wheelchair access for those physically challenged, and are carefully positioned to maximize the views of the adjacent verdant hills, and at the same time maintain the intimacy, and privacy of this old-world Manor home which remains open all year round.

The 3 Manor Suites:

Are an exclusive family unit accommodation, with the following additional amenities; King-sized double bed, ensuite bathroom with ‘rainfall’ shower, twin vanity basins, an extra bed is available upon request, daily -refreshed linen and towels, Hairdryer, specially blended fragranced toiletries, complimentary bottles of mineral water, in-room electronic safe, writing desk and stationery set, bathrobes and slippers, private wooden sun terrace, and loungers, room service on request, night turndown service, internal telephone system, universal power adapters, charging ports, laundry service available and emergency flashlight.

3 Stable Cottages of 3 guestrooms:

The Stable Cottages are family cottage, located on at the rear of the riding stables, separated form the main Manor house.  Features a small separate dining area, a lounge, a fireplace that can be used for intimate and private dinners and lunches.

As an exclusive family unit in the 3 guest bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, separated from the main Manor house, divided into two floors, on the ground floor is a richly-furnished Master Bedroom and a Twin Bedroom, each with its own individual bathroom. 

The Cottages second level has the children’s Twin room, a ‘Toddler’s bathroom’ and a satellite TV Playroom. Amenities are the same as the Manor Suites, and Wi-Fi is only available in the Main Manor house.
