Overview
The Charming Lonno Lodge was constructed by Aldo & Silvia, who moved from Italy to Kenya in February 2006 and opened publicly early 2009, this cozy boutique hotel in Watamu has only 4 rooms & 4 suites which guarantee peace and privacy. With one restaurant, small in size, the strict control on food preparation which allows the lodge to bake gluten-free bread, pasta, cookies muffins and cereal for coeliacs customers.
The 4 rooms are in the Observation Tower, while each one of the 4 suites are on two floors, with independent access. The size of the Rooms and Suites differ in bedding, while several of the features they offer are common to every unit, such as 4 rooms and 4 suites. The Tower Rooms range from the cozy 42 sq. Deluxe Room, to the huge 72 sq. Top Tower Room has private and exclusive roof-top terrace and you’ll never miss the ocean view and the sea breeze. Each room can accommodate 2 guests, plus a baby cot.
Suites are one bedroom and Family Suite with 2- bedrooms, from 90 sq. to 133 sq. each independent. the standard suites have patio plus terraces all facing the ocean, the Grand Suite have more secluded faces than mature tropical garden. Bedroom(s) and bathroom are on the first floor, living room is on the ground floor overlooking the natural garden, amid a cozy patio and frangipani’s fragrances. Suites can accommodate from 2 to 5 guests, plus a baby cot.
The pool is at the centre of the Lodge, adjacent to the restaurant with its infinity edge facing the Indian Ocean, almost 200,000 liters of water, amplifies its surface with the absence of corner and the harmony of its curving lines.

Historical Suites: these are 1-bedroomed or in the Family Suite with 2-bedrooms ranging in size from 90 up to 133 sqm, independent and spacious with a patio plus terrace, all facing the ocean except the Grand Suite which is more secluded and faces the mature tropical garden. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the 1st floor, living room on the ground floor overlooking the natural garden in the midst of a cozy patio and frangipani’s fragrances. The Suites can accommodate 2 to 5 guests, & a baby cot. The suites are Junior Suite, Suite, Grand Suite & Family Suite.
