Overview
Situated in the heart of Kibale rainforest National Park amidst unrivaled nature and scenery, is Primate Lodge Kibale, a 5 min drive from the park’s headquarters in an area of 766 sq km (296 mi). The lodge is tucked deep in the forest, next door to the starting point for Chimpanzee trekking excursion as well as the incredible Chimpanzee Habituation. Also known as Uganda’s primate paradise, home to over 13 species of primates and a number of mammals, butterflies and birds.
The lodge comprises of 9 spacious, ensuite luxury cottages each with 2 double beds or 1 king-size bed, sitting area with 2 comfortable arm chairs, a reading table, an adjoining veranda with excellent views of the forest for maximum privacy. The honeymoon cottage has a double bed, and enjoys a private lounging with dining area at the extensive cottage with its private veranda with views into the forest.
The main lodge has a spacious restaurant terrace, a well-stocked bar, massage parlor, offers complimentary room service, a secluded lounge area with a small library furnished with comfortable large chairs, sofas, sofa cushions, an area for evening campfire, free laundry service and Wi-Fi in the public areas.
