Overview
Mahogany Springs Lodge is set in an exotic garden overlooking the Munyanga River, located in Buhoma region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park within a 10min walk to the starting point of gorilla trekking. A perfect relaxing place to discover the beauty of the plants and birds that make Bwindi such a remarkable place.
The main building is perched on a hillside with spectacular views of Bwindi from its panoramic terrace. The living room has been newly refurbished with extra comfy seats by the fire making this a perfect location to read a book with a drink, or flick through your trekking photos. Within the main building is a gift shop selling locally made crafts, the spacious restaurant where you will enjoy internationally inspired meals and drinks.
You have a choice of private dining by the river or on your private balcony, a bar fully stocked with international range of wines, beers, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks and book a massage in the privacy of your room. Being the perfect location for bird lovers with 350 species of which can be found in the Bwindi National Park, including 23 species which are endemic to the Albertine Rift, it is said a keen birder can spot up to 100 species a day.

12 luxury Suites, in 3 categories:
Superior Suites are ideal for couples, individual travelers, which are spacious, high ceilings, fantastic view of the surrounding area. All superior suites have their own private terrace, large en-suite bathroom, walk-in terracotta shower.
Mosquito nets, power sockets, a dressing table/desk, in twin, double or triple.
Honeymoon Suite: Named by the Huffington Post as the “2nd most unforgettable Honeymoon destination” and recommended the lodge as the perfect location for gorilla trekking. Rooms have larger beds, bathtub and shower.
Family Suites named “The Munganga Suite” opened in June 2022, perched high up on the banks of the Munyanga River. The 2 bedrooms, all ensuite bathrooms, spacious living room that lead to private terraces with breathtaking views of the river and forest.
