Overview

The Kyambura Gorge Lodge was opened in 2009, located on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park with sweeping views of the rolling savanna, the distant mountains of the moon, and the sunken Kyambura Gorge. The lodge is the ideal site for tracking the lost chimps in the sunken forest for Kyambura Gorge nearby and to see the bewildering game in this park centered around the waterway of the Kazinga Channel.

The lodge has 8 elegant guest bandas with an afro chic theme, accent on local artifacts re-imaged in a new context. 4 new deluxe bandas and 4 standard bandas. The new spa and swimming pool was launched in 2019, and recent remodeling of the entire public area and gardens. There is a lounge, Bar, Personal Butler service and Wi-Fi throughout the lodge.

The park has the highest number of bird species in an African park at 600, you are allowed to participate in the Kyambura Gorge Eco-tourism project which offer community and conservation activities to safeguard the Kyambura Gorge ecosystem. Walking safaris is the latest activity created to enable you to experience the savanna and landscapes of Kyambura Gorge and visit a reclaimed wetland.

8 hand-built guest bandas with views of the Kyambura gorge or savannah.

4 deluxe and 4 standard bandas, in categories of 6 doubles and 2 twin, ensuite bathrooms with flushing toilet, double vanity, indoor and outdoor shower with running hot & cold water, a private balcony, non- smoking rooms, with mosquito nets, hair dryer in room, fan in the room, and personal butler service for all guests.
