Swahili Beach was opened in 2012, a 5-star luxury hotel in Diani and only 8 minutes (1.7mi) drive from Ukunda airstrip. Barharini Beach Bar and restaurant offers a la carte menus including burger, grills, seafood and offers a kid’s menu for the younger ones. It also provides casual Sunday brunch, lunches to chill and an ideal place for barefoot. The 5 restaurants include Zanzibar Explore, which is a pan-Asian a la carte menu with 2 Teppanyaki tables, serves Kenyan seafood freshly purchased from fishermen cooked in a contemporary style. The Spice Route Restaurant is an unmatched fusion of Kenyan-Indian cuisine as part of the Swahili culture, themed with a modern take on ‘Indian” style.

Majilis Restaurant means “gathering or meeting place” and is the main dining restaurant, where you may enjoy different cuisines from Swahili to Italian and everything in between, this is your first stop on your culinary travels. The Kahawa Lounge is an unmatched fusion of Kenyan-Indian cuisine as part of the Swahili culture, themed with a very modern take on “Indian” style. Whilst the Baharini Beach Bar & Restaurant is renown for its special dining experience on Diani Beach, where all menu items are from fresh organic ingredients.
