Serena Mivumo River Lodge is home to a boutique sophisticated, impeccable facility within a breathtaking location in Nyerere National Park, Tanzania. In 1982, the park was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a result od the diversity in its wildlife and undisturbed nature. As one of the largest parks in Africa and the largest in Tanzania, it is 4 times the size of Serengeti and larger than the entire nation of Switzerland.
The largest concentration of elephants resides here, and home to over 1,300 African wild dogs in Africa, and 1/3 of the entire world’s population. Mivumo River Lodge is tucked along the banks of the Rufiji River, and boasts of glorious views over Stiegler’s Gorge. The chalets are meticulously furnished with graceful Edwardian design of modern perks including complimentary wireless internet and 24-hour room service.
