Overview
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is nestled high above the plains into the Crater’s ragged rim, hidden in river stone and indigenous vines, the lodge is barely visible to the naked eye. With framed by arched stone passages and timbered decks, its torch-lit walls are adorned with stylized cave paintings.
The 74 guest rooms and one suite at Ngorongoro Serena blend the beauty and magnitude of the Ngorongoro Crater with unparalleled standards for comfort and service. At the stone heart of the lodge burns a glowing fire, which is constantly light. The rooms are looped around the Crater rim, each with its own rock-enclosed balcony where all enjoy a completely uninterrupted views of the volcanic Amphitheatre below.
Interior features of brass lamps, embossed leather head boarders, wildwood mirrors, Maasai carvings and stylish cave paintings. The main restaurant is beautifully designed with a traditional style and local decor to create and enchanting dining experience in different locations within. The dining space is ideal for any occasion, with floor to-ceiling windows, double doors leading out on an expansive terrace which compliments each meal with the panoramic view of the Crater.

Accommodation
44 standard rooms with twin beds, 15 rooms with double beds, 15 rooms with triple beds and 1 suite makes total of 75 rooms. All rooms feature elegant interior spaces infused with a locally inspired décor and private stone balconies overlooking the Crater.
Each room has a private terrace, ensuite bathroom with eco boutique bath amenities, mosquito nets, free Wi-Fi, telephone, power outlet for hair dryer, shavers’ socket, safety deposit box, mineral water replenished daily, 24-hour medical service, laundry, valet and shoeshine services, bathrobe and slippers, coffee & tea making stations and a work desk and chair.
