Sarova Lion Hill Lodge opened its doors in 1986. And has been appointed a winner in 3 outstanding categories in the 2023 World Luxury Hotel Awards, voted luxury Safari Lodge & Luxury Game Lodge in East Africa as well as Luxury Family Hotel, Africa. Located within Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s favorite safari destinations famous for one of the world’s largest populations of pink flamingo, home to the endangered black rhino and Kenya’s 3rd largest lake after Lake Turkana and Lake Victoria. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is set along “The Lion Hill” in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Concealed amidst lush vegetation, the safari lodge features a classic, elegant and timeless design with 67 chalet-style rooms each with its own terrace offering the most spectacular views of the Lake and the National Park.
The lodge also offers world-class cuisine, a panoramic bar terrace, and organic garden, a swimming pool, an outdoor spa and fun filled activities for the family. The Lodge has its own vegetable and herb garden which provides the freshness and quality of its food. The food standards embody those of the renowned Sarova cuisine brand “Kitchens of Sarova”, all meals are served “al fresco” at the Flamingo Restaurant that offers spectacular views of the lush grounds, the tranquil swimming pool and the breathtaking views of the Lake.
The Flamingo Restaurant: is the main restaurant with a capacity of 150 guests, serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking counters preparing speciality dishes.
Rift Valley Bar: opens out into an Amphitheatre where traditional dance performances are held each evening with amazing views of the sunset over the lake and hills beyond, and ideal site for sundowner.
Experiential Dining: outdoor dining experience in the wilderness is enchanting and special requests can be met at various outdoor locations at the lodge for privacy including honeymooners private dining spot. These incentives need to be prebooked; Sundowners at the Baboon Cliff, Bush Breakfast at the top of the Lion Hill, Excursions to locations like Menegai Crater.
The two conference rooms at the lodge can be set up to tailor to your needs and can host between 18 to 42 guests subject to the room style setting.

Sarova Lion Hill Ziwa Suite: Ziwa means “lake” in Swahili, is the presidential suite at the lodge, situated in an isolated location for privacy, with an outstanding view, large private terrace with panoramic views and dining area, separate lounge area, minibar, Tv, ensuite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, bathtub, beds with mosquito nets, hair dryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Sarova Lion Hill Chui & Faru Suites: Chui & Faru are names after the two most coveted for visitors to the park, in Swahili meaning” leopard” and “rhino” respectively. The 2-bedroom suites are adjacent to each other are tastefully furnished with a fireplace and private terrace, private patios with panoramic views, separate lounge area, minibar, Tv, lake view, ensuite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, bathtub, running hot & cold water, razors outlets with 220 and 240 volts, beds with mosquito nets, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
