Overview
This Ecotourism, Gold Eco-rated Camp is located on the banks of the Sand River, named after the Camp, within Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border. Sand River Masai Mara is situated in a secluded and beautiful area, replicating the heyday of exclusive permanent tented camps in the late 1920s.
The National Reserve is renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration and large concentrates of the big cats especially the BIG 5 namely; lion, leopard, elephant, black rhinoceros, and African buffalo. Sand River Masai Mara comprises of 16 guest tents including one Family tent each divided into two separate but adjoining campsites, each area has its own designated dining and public areas, creating an increased sense of exclusivity and privacy.
